Get Fit Final Reflection :(

Sighh really sad get fit is going to end soon :( I love this class, probably the best PE class I had! Everyone is so welcoming and encouraging. I feel that get fit is different than normal PE classes. Instead of playing games and doing variety of sports, we do exercises that improve our fitness. I really enjoyed all the thing we did in get fit because one I became more fit (YES!!), also my fitness had really improved! I felt really great last friday. We had a choice between doing the circuit run or the pond run. I chose the pond run because I feel that I needed to work on my pacing. Even though it was really cold outside, I tried my best to keep my pace. In the beginning of the semester I get tired easily when we do the pond run and some other activities, but last friday I felt really good! I felt that my body was doing the work it should do, I completed the run and did not stop at all. I felt really proud of myself (: Even though my legs killed in the weekend. I learned that you have to push yourself and at the end you'll be proud of what you can achieve! MOTIVATION is a must! But the most important thing I learned in get fit was to be YOUrself! No matter what size you are, what culture you're from, what color you are, how ugly/pretty you are, you shouldn't let other people bring you down just because you can't do something! We were all born differently, that's how we are! No matter what, we are still who we are.. No one can change that, you are beautiful in your own way, DON'T let anyone change that! To be accepted you have to learn how to accept yourself for who you are and your insecurities, it's okay to be different but just remember to be YOU! I learned how to love myself and other girls surrounding me. We are all in the age where we struggle with insecurities, peer pressure, and what society thinks of us, but I learned to not put that in our heads, to not care if we are judged because we are all strong, we will stand up and feel stronger because those words can't kill us and make them haters be haters! In general, just be YOU! <3

After get fit ends, I'm totally going to do ZUMBA!! It's soo much fun! Also the other activities and field trip like yoga, snowshoeing, dancing, and other exercises, they were awesome too! I will continue all the things and bring that positive energy with me! I hope that the other girls in our class learnt the important things in life that can make us fitter and become a better person. Be YOUrself! Last but not least, thank you Mrs. Phillips for making this class possible! I think from us girls we want to thank you for giving us for this wonderful opportunity, even though some of us have to go out our comfort zone, it's worth it! Thank you for everything and i will miss this class :(
